We've been wanting to do this for a long time... so finally the weather cooperated plus we all had a free afternoon and energy!!
We made it to the Gasthaus for an early Mother's Day celebration and simply to enjoy a giant plate of nachos and caesar salad.
Mom and Tante Hilda's favorite.
It's unfortunate that I don't have a hat to complete the look here, but we're all looking as cool as possible with our shades.
We obviously all believe in protective eye wear.
Looks like Mom is ready for a safari adventure. Come to think of it, just getting all four of us out to any location these days feels like a bit of a safari. These dear little ladies aren't as spry as they once were and I am another case altogether with the wheelchair. Elsie comes accompanied by a large bag containing the wildlife. Pupcake is an exciting addition to any outing. He lay quietly in his bag on the floor in the restaurant until a squeaky toy at the next table was activated. This in turn caused Pupcake to bark so we made our exit.
It was a lovely day for an outing.
And in other news, this happened yesterday. Those lovely long curls will be making a wig for some lucky person and Patrice has got a sweet new look.
