England is just such a quaint and lovely place to visit.
The cobble stone walkways, the church spires standing tall in the centre of the towns, the narrow streets that wind along beside old Victorian houses, the gravesite of precious saints that dated far back and told stories of those who lived here long ago...
As Lorna drove us to see her home and church and to settle us into our little cottage, our eyes were drinking in the historic sites and beauty passing by us in every direction.
This is the pretty view was right outside the front window of the cottage we were staying in. The magnolia tree was in bloom and there were such pretty bird songs filling the air.
The kitchen in our little place was so homey. The living room had an electric recliners and even a wheat bag that I could warm up in their microwave whenever I got cold. Which was often. It is an unseasonably cool Spring and the damp air gets right into my bones. But how lovely to have the use of a cottage with all the comforts of home!! We were overwhelmed with kindness of the couple that we had never met who allowed us the use of their wheelchair accessible home for the duration of our stay in England.
They were off on a mission in Moldavia so the timing was perfect.
I love to discover the beauty and kindness of the Body of Christ.
Generous and trusting and full of goodness.
A reflection of the Kind God they worship and serve.
