Much to his chagrin, Dad continues to rack up the birthdays and is still blessing us with his sweet presence.
He turned 92 this December 15th and we brought over Chinese food and found a space at the Village to have our own private party.
Dad is such a good sport, rockin' the party gear even at the dignified age of 92.
Here we are - the original five, all a little older and hopefully wiser!
Dad read his cards out loud - it's tradition, after all!
Underpants and a new power-life chair were the gifts.
Here is Vic modelling Dad's super chair next to the tiny baby chair that Marica is occupying.
Looks like the Jolly Green Giant next to a cute little hobbit!
After supper we went downstairs where we sang some carols and made music to cheer our hearts and to celebrate the season.
It's lovely that there are spots at Mom & Dad's new residence that still allow us to gather around a piano or have a private dinner even when Dad isn't up to coming up to my place.
We are adjusting to a new normal - it's the people that count, location is not so important as long as there is love between us when we gather.
