Early Christmas

I came home one day to find this tree beautifully lit and decorated in my living room along with lots of other pretty decorations hung throughout the house.

There are definite benefits to house sharing!

This picture wreaks havoc with the parts of my brain that tend towards OCD.
Just wanting to share the struggle in case anyone out there wants to join in.

So I'll give you another angle that is more satisfying as there is actual food on the table.

Before Vic and Marcia left we had an early Christmas supper followed by lots of merry making and singing with all the instruments playing along!
Elsie brought along her flute and ukulele, I played piano and Patrice strummed her guitar.
Everyone else had some sort of percussion instrument or bells filling the house with many joyful sounds.

Daniel spent lots of time reminiscing with Oma and there were many happy conversations shared in between the caroling.

Sad that Dad doesn't have the energy to join us up here anymore, but reports were given of him happily returning from his early Christmas dinner at the "Village" carting Mom's extra portion along on his walker since she was eating with us.
Glad he had some Christmas joy as well.
