Frosted Beauty

December began with a lovely little snowfall - thankfully nothing like the mammoth dump of snow that shocked us early in November!

Just enough to pretty things up and hopefully disappear quickly.
Oh the amazing combination of blue skies and snow frosted bushes and mountains..

Ladybug had obviously been enjoying a "snow-snack" and was eager to get in out of the cold.

Matthew Baker recently invited me to join him and Zoe for lunch at the Woodfire Bakery.
We are a bit of a production with our two wheelchairs in a fairly tiny space, but the food was delicious and Matthew finished off his meal as well as whatever I couldn't eat of mine!
He is a superstar in my world.
Such an overcoming spirit and so much joy - he's just contagious.

Such a wonderful young man.
Having Zoe as one of his care aids was a total answer to prayer and it was fun to be able to catch up with her as well.

I took Mom out for a little coffee break recently and the lake was so calm creating a beautiful reflection.
Nice to be able to enjoy our drinks with this incredible vista spread out before us.

And I close with this face here... absolutely irresistible!
