This particular 'girl's getaway' felt like a miraculous occurrence.
The last one we had was 25 years ago.
Look at these two beauties.
Friends since before they were born!
So fun to pack our bags and take off, just weeks before Joanna ties the knot!
Our first stop was Osoyoos where Leanne had booked us into a lovely hotel and we had a feast to top all feasts right at the get go!
We shared everything turning it into a huge delicious smorgasbord.
I asked the server to split the bill in half...exactly.
I don't know what prompted me to specify the "exactly" part - because half is half.
However, the waitress took me literally and produced the bill for me - ripped in two.
We laughed uproariously and headed off to the pool to play some games and then the girls jumped into the hot tub.
The next day dawned bright and beautiful and we were off with Patrice at the wheel to cross the border...
Thankfully we all remembered our passports and there were no issues so we shot over to the US of A.
Music, munchies and comfortable conversation...
There's nothing like travelling with really good friends.
