September is awash with beauty.
Plants are thriving in the cooler air, many of them throwing off restraint and putting on their best performance.
Oak trees are producing a bounty for the squirrels and the fruit trees are loaded.
The harvest begins...
A gazillion Galas, Goldens and Macs sitting ready to tantalize and satisfy!
Happily some of the bounty landed on our patio.
Such kind people are leasing the land and looking after me too!
That's the way God works around here.
Mom and I did some "drive-through" apple picking before the harvest was complete.
She marvelled over the fruit and enjoyed the juicy crunch!
The landscape is changing, the skies are restless...
Leaves are beginning to change and fall...
Rich green, vibrant red and scattered leaves of gold...
I am mesmerized by the earth as she gets ready to hunker down for the coming season of sleep.
Life in all it's varied forms, declaring the praises of it's Creator.
Blessed to share the bounty,
To marvel over the beauty.
Breathing prayers of thankfulness.
