Vigilent

On Monday evening Anita, Patrice and I were at her Dad's place after a nice dinner out when I got a call from Tante Hilda that Mom had suffered a small stroke that afternoon.
We picked her up after convincing her it would be best to get things checked out and spent some time in Emerg getting her checked out and thankfully, checked in!

The damage was minimal, but there's always the danger of a more substantial stroke following the initial one so it was good to have her under observation and in a safe place.
Her first night wasn't very peaceful as she was in a busy hallway but the next night we settled her into a much nicer ward.

There's lots of peace.
Walking through a valley in the shadow of our Shepherd knowing He knows our moments and our days, our past and our future.

It's kind of like a practice run for something...
Wanting to remain in peace.
Grateful for a mom that rolls with the punches and trusts her life into the hands of a loving God.
