Friendship Now

Just spent a couple of hours lounging on my bed with my son.
Sharing in his dreams
Talking about his upcoming adventure in Peru,
perusing websites about hiking boots and cameras.
He lets me into his world.
Oh how I have longed for times like this.

It's friendship now.
so precious.

Every moment with my kids
a gift,
