Check it out - Sussex Street!!
We were staying right in the centre of things.
Since the Gathering didn't start until evening we headed out to see the sights that were just around the corner from our hotel.
I can't believe I didn't have one of these beaver-tails, but there may have been some fasting involved in preparation for the event, so perhaps that explains it!
But our eyes were feasting on so much color and fun so we were satisfied!
Really and truly - this is how beautifully God created food for us!
The displays were delightful to behold.
The day was overcast but it didn't dampen our spirits!
We were just so grateful that we had rallied our forces and had headed out the night before to catch all the color in the sky before the heavy dark clouds moved in.
The flame continues to burn before Parliament as do the prayers of innumerable saints across this land.
God we implore you to keep our land glorious and free...
Deliver us from evil and lead us in paths of righteousness.
Let Your Kingdom Come Here, on earth as it is in heaven.
And the Gathering began with beautiful familiar faces on the stage, telling the story of how this quest to seek the Lord for the healing of our land began...
