We siblings found plenty of occasions to be together.
Marcia and I had a couple of satisfying evenings going through some boxes at Elsie's and getting paperwork in order for her.
Vic always has lots do to when he comes to Kelowna, being the only capable man in the crowd, and since Elsie's house is older it requires a fair bit of maintenance.
We enjoyed a meal together at Elsie's for a change!
Since it's cherry season I got up early one morning and bought a few boxes of organic cherries to send along with Patrice who was heading to Calgary to visit cousins.
She arrived safely and I was happy to receive pictures of the excitement generated by her arrival and that of the cherries!
Grateful for the glue that Becci is in our family.
I had considered going along to Calgary, but decided to take the more restful option and stay in Kelowna to enjoy family here.
If it weren't for the wheelchair I'd definitely be attending more family functions outside of my own little accessible home & city.
Which turned out to be a very good plan.
We had some more family adventures.
Ate Nachos downtown and took a walk along the lake.
It's easier to get mom out when we have Victor here to manage the wheelchair.
And she loves herself an outing as does Tante Hilda!!

We managed to get the Zeitner's over for a BBQ.
Ken did the honours in the rain.
Truly, they are friends for all seasons!
Grateful that Vic & Marcia have made connections with our Kelowna people.
Feels like one very big and wonderful extended family.
Which it is actually is.
Thanks be to God...
